The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G features the 5th-generation Qualcomm AI Engine that claims to offer intuitive interactions with better voice translation, AI-based imaging, and AI-enhanced gaming experience. It incorporates the Kryo 570 architecture that promises up to 20% improvement in performance than its predecessor, along with better efficiency. The chipset comes with up to 2.2GHz of clock speed. In terms of graphics processing, it has the Adreno 619 GPU, which is said to enable up to 10% better graphics rendering as compares to the Snapdragon 730G processor. Moving to connectivity, the 750G employs the X52 5G modem-RF system, which is the same modem found on the Snapdragon 765G. The X52 supports 5G mmWave and sub-6GHz waves, in addition to SA, NSA modes. Moreover, there is also support for FDD and TDD modes, along with DSS. Qualcomm says the modem enables support for multi-gigabit connections with lightning-fast upload and download speeds. As for other specifications, the Snapdragon 750G allows for QuickCharge 4+ charging technology, and it supports up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. For connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. The chipset also brings support for aptX Adaptive audio. When it comes to display, Snapdragon 750G enables FHD+ screen resolution at 120Hz and QHD resolution at 60Hz. It also brings support for HDR10+.

Lastly, talking about camera prowess, with the Snapdragon 750G, there is the Spectra 355L ISP, which is a dual 14-bit processor that enables support for up to 192MP snapshot, with dual 32+16MP cameras supporting up to 30fps recording. Of course, there is MFNR (multi-frame noise reduction), along with the ability to capture videos in HDR10 and HLG, with slo-mo video capture in 720p at 240fps.

Availability

Devices running on the Snapdragon 750G chipset are expected to be available sometime around the end of 2020.
